Online Master Class of European Cheese
The European Union and the French National Dairy Center or Centre National Interprofessionnel de l'Economie Laitière (CNIEL) held an online master class on the theme of European cheese. Due to international spread of COVID-19, it was broadcasted live online for the health safety of the participants. This campaign was held simultaneously in Korea, China, Japan, and Taiwan with Fabien Degoulet, the 2015 winner of the 'World's Best Fromage Contest', and about 30 influencers from each country participated.
In the first part of the event, Fabian De Goure passed on various easy know-hows and combinations to enjoy French cheese. During the second part Chef JD, the chef and CEO of 'I LOVE HANSIK', and perfumer Oh Hani, the CEO of 'Nalda' of Perfumery, participated as speakers and suggested recipes using French cheese.
The European Home of Cheese campaign not only delivers information on the long history and technical know-how of European and French cheeses in Korea, but also hosts various events such as recipe introductions and consumer events.
